Hercules 4KG ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher (SETSCO Approved)
The Hercules FT01-04A-00 4KG ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher is a SETSCO-approved unit supplied with a wall bracket, designed for medium occupation hazard areas that require dependable protection against Class A, B, C and electrical fires.
Suitable for medium-sized industrial fires, this dry powder extinguisher carries a 34A : 183B fire rating, exceeding the 21A requirement for medium occupation hazard areas. It is appropriate for spaces where fires of moderate size may be expected, including storage and display areas, motor showrooms, covered car parks, light industry premises, warehouses not classified as high hazard, shopping areas, laboratories, small painting areas and commercial kitchens.
Tested in laboratories, it is capable of tackling Class A fires involving combustibles such as wood, tyres, furniture and plastics; Class B fires involving flammable liquids such as paint, thinner and petrol; Class C fires involving flammable gases such as LPG; and Class E electrical fires (excluding lithium battery fires). As advised locally, Class C and E fires should first be controlled by shutting off the gas or electrical supply before using the extinguisher, as these fires may reignite while heat is still being generated.
