The chemical splash hood is well suited to provide protection to the head and face in environments of frequent chemical splash.
Providing protection against many agents, the shell of the hood is manufactured of green nylon reinforced PVC material
The full cut of the shell protects the head, face, and neck from accidental splash.
It is designed to go over the shoulders to shed the splash off the shoulders.
The shell is constructed with seams double stitched with cotton thread. The non-synthetic thread is needed to resist the glue, which is used to seal the seams inside and out.
The window of the hood is Oberon’s Chemical Resistant Shield.
It’s large 7” X 13” window will retain its visibility and integrity, even when splashed with most acids (except hydrofluoric acid), bases and solvents.
