An Aerosol meter is an indispensable safety device for detecting dangerous carbon monoxide concentrations indoors. It is used wherever CO can occur - for example in homes with gas boilers or fireplaces, in workshops with running engines and in boats, motorhomes or other enclosed spaces with combustion appliances.

The Aerosol meter records CO values in the range from 0 ... 500 ppm with a high resolution of 1 ppm. The Aerosol meter also measures relative humidity and temperature, whereby the temperature display can also be switched to Fahrenheit. All measured values are shown on an easy-to-read 2-inch LC display with backlighting.

For even more convenience, the Aerosol meter has a standby mode that can be activated manually. If no input is made within 60 seconds, the display switches off automatically - but the device remains active. In the event of increased CO values, the Aerosol meter warns with a visual and acoustic alarm. This is supported by a traffic light function: green for 0 ... 100 ppm, orange for 101 ... 200 ppm and red for 201 ... 500 ppm. As soon as the limit value of 100 ppm is exceeded, an additional acoustic warning signal sounds to indicate a possible hazard. Thanks to the integrated lithium battery, which is conveniently charged via USB-C, the detector is particularly flexible to use.
